Hi, just after some clarification.

I've got a no-o retirement visa single entry which is valid till 28/9 can I enter Thailand around 26/9 & get the full 90 days + can you use a re-entry permit in the 90 days & can you get a 60-day extension at immigration after the 90 days.

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can enter Thailand on your no-o retirement visa before it expires, and you will receive a 90-day stay stamp upon entry. You can also obtain a re-entry permit within those 90 days. However, you cannot get a 60-day extension unless you are married to a Thai national or have a Thai child. The only extension available for this visa is a one-year extension based on financial criteria.

You can enter even on the 28th of September and get 90 days upon entry. You can buy a single or multiple re-entry permit and get stamped back in within the 90 days of your visa. There’s no 60 days extension unless you’re married to a Thai or have a Thai child.

There’s only a one year extension of stay available, but if you’re entitled to visa exemption you could probably just do a border run and get stamped back in on a 30 days visa exemption which also can be extended with additional 30 days at your local immigration.

The visa is valid for 90 days from issue. As long as you enter on or before

you’ll be stamped in for 90 days.

You can get a re-entry permit during those 90 days which will keep your “allowed to stay until” date alive.

You cannot get a 60 day extension off of that visa - unless you have a Thai wife or half Thai child.

It's 3x yes, provided you have Thai family that you could base the 60 day extension on.

Bart Beemsterboer You can't extend a 90 days Non-immigrant O based on retirement other than 1 year.

Yes, yes (I think), no. The only Extension is the 12-month extension subject to you having 800k in a Thai bank.
