Hello people, I am just wondering if anyone has any information or has entered Thailand under the new 30 day visa on arrival since it’s been back but flight is out of Thailand in more than 30 days? I’ve been coming to Thailand for many years and have never over stayed my visa but this is my first time entering Thailand with a flight out of the country after the 30 days with the TDAC also in place, of course I will be extending my visa at a immigration office but I am more worried if my flight out of the country is within 60 days I would be denied? thanks! 🙏

There is no 30 day visa-on-arrival, only a 30 day visa exemption.

What is even easier is getting a tourist visa before you fly to Thailand. It’s cheaper and you can apply for it online. Also saves you trouble going to immigration while you on holiday.

Your issue could be with your airline. They may insist on a ticket out of Thailand within the number of days your entry scheme allows regardless that you could get an extension. Immigration generally don’t care as they know you can get an extension but the airline may insist.

I'm in the same position. I fly with Emirates from the UK for 60 days holiday,and Emirates have informed me they would not let me board without a visa.. bloody nightmare

OPHeather Lough could always get a refundable ticket or a cheap ticket to Vietnam or cambodia within the 30 days then cancel

If you are from a country that allows visa exempt entry then you can indeed extend for 30 days in country for 1,900 baht.Activity
