To the visa gurus if i come on a 30 day normal visa the free one what is required to extend for 3 more months and what type of visa ,cost , and can i get this when i am there hope this makes sense look forward to your replies.

Come into Thailand on your 30 day visa exemption after 15 days you can extend and add another 30 days for 1900bt.

At the end of you 60 days you will have to do a border run thus getting a new 30 day visa exempt after 15 days again go to immigration and extend for 30 days for again 1900bt

Thus giving you 120 days 😁😁

If you want to stay 4 months you have to look into visa options, like Single Entry Tourist Visa, gives you 60 days, extension 30 days than a border run, or the Multiple Entry Tourist Visa, gives you 60 days, border run for new 60 days. You get the Visa at the Thai Embassy or Consulate before you travel to Thailand.

If you use the Visa Exempt Entry you get 30 days of stay and you can Extend this once with another 30 days at a local Immigration Office. Cost is 1.900 Thb.
