Hi all I've got an initial non O retirement 3 month visa and just about to apply for my first 22 month extension. Is it easy/possible to change my address from the one I used for the initial 3 month visa? And does anyone know if I need the previous 12 month bank statement for this first extension or just the 2 months they require the 800k to be in my bank ? I've had a lot of contradictory advice through asking locally so just wanted to check with the wider community. Thanks in advance ππΌππΌππΌ

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about applying for a 22-month extension of their initial 3-month Non-O retirement visa in Thailand, specifically asking if they can change their registered address and what documentation is needed regarding their bank statements. The responses highlight the importance of having a TM30 form filed for the new address and clarify potential complications if the visa was issued at a different immigration office.

Where did you get your visa? If you got it at an embassy then no problem. Just make sure you have a TM30 filed for the address you're staying at and have a copy of the TM30 for your extension application.
If you got the non-O from an immigration office in Thailand then BIG problem. No other office will accept an application for an extension of a visa that was issued in a different immigration office.

I got the non O in Chiang Mai and I will apply for the extension here too... just wanted to change my local address that's all...they told me to bring a TM30 only not a lease agreement or anything else....
if immigration requires a lease then you'll need that also. Wherever you are living now a TM30 should have been filed within 24 hours. It's no problem filing one, and it has to be done, but if that immigration wants a lease then you provide one, or documents from your wife if she owns the property inviting you to live there, with copies of her ID card, and house book.
