Hi everyone,

I’m wondering if anyone here has experience changing from an ED visa to a Non-O visa (based on family, with a Thai child).

Can this change be done inside Thailand without needing to leave the country?

What steps did you take, and what documents were needed?

I’d really appreciate any advice or tips from those who’ve gone through this process. Thanks in advance!

You need to ask your Immigration Office (the one that issued your extension of stay) if they will allow the change of reason for your extension of stay (it's not a visa, you cannot change that) as some will and some will not
