I’m wondering if anyone here has experience changing from an ED visa to a Non-O visa (based on family, with a Thai child).
Can this change be done inside Thailand without needing to leave the country?
What steps did you take, and what documents were needed?
I’d really appreciate any advice or tips from those who’ve gone through this process. Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is inquiring about the process of changing their ED visa to a Non-O visa based on having a Thai child, specifically asking if this can be done without leaving Thailand and what steps and documents are necessary. One commenter suggests contacting the Immigration Office that issued the extension of stay to inquire about the possibility of changing the reason for the visa.
