We are entering Thailand through phuket sandbox as my son school in phuket is opening now. How long can we stay in phuket? Can we extend our visa or not, under this scheme? Please advice.

hi he is studying in UWC. We already have repermit and visa till dec. But was worried if it can be extended or not if we enter through sandbox. Had gone back to our country during lockdown

I entered in Non O visa (guardian of student) then got extension.

You can continue getting the one year extension fo stay based on being a guardian of a student as normal.

almost every visa type is eligible for some type of extension, tourist visas a 30 day extension. There are also qualifying reasons for extensions such as visiting Thai wife or children. What type of Visa did you enter on?

Entering Phuket for sandbox or anywhere else has no effect on an extension application.
