What visa are you entering Phuket sandbox with?

If your son is to get an Ed Visa for school in Phuket you are eligible for ONE Guardian Visa per child with a bank deposit of 500,000 Thai baht in a Thai bank account in your name only.

What school will your son be attending?

International?

University?

Or ???

How many in your family are entering Thailand ?

Your home passport nation is?

You can continue getting the one year extension fo stay based on being a guardian of a student as normal.

almost every visa type is eligible for some type of extension, tourist visas a 30 day extension. There are also qualifying reasons for extensions such as visiting Thai wife or children. What type of Visa did you enter on?

Entering Phuket for sandbox or anywhere else has no effect on an extension application.
