Question you did 1 tourist visa extrnsion at thai immigration.

Next i believe by crossibg the border into Laos and coming back same day ..... visa bounce.

No need to fly.

applying for a 60-days Tourist Visa at the Thai Embassy in Vientiane, is the best option. You need an appointment, though, and the processing period can be up to 3-4 working days. NOTE: In Vietnam or Malaysia the requirements for an application to a 60-days Tourist Visa are much stricter and more complicated than in Vientiane

thnx for detailed info. but at the end the cost of 4 nights + 60 days visa is more than 1 night and have 30 days exemption + 30 days extension

if your plan consists of entering again on a 30 days visa-exempt entry, then this would be you second consecutive visa-exempt entry.

You could be grilled by Immigration upon entry, for the actual purpose of your visits.

So you better be prepared to show, have the three proofs:

**** proof of 20.000.- THB in CASH. Can be in another currency, though

**** proof of accommodation of the next 3-4 nights in Thailand

**** proof of onward travel OUT of Thailand within the 30 days you will get stamped in

I entered with 60 days visa, then I extended 30 days, now I am travelling out of Thailand to get other 30 days but I was asking question how to make 60 days visa from abroad. It seems more expensive than I thought

ah, okay. You won't meet any problems entering visa-exempt and can extend the first 30 days with another 30 days for 1900.- THB

You apply for a tourist visa from a Thai embassy or consulate. Look at the website of the Thai embassy of where you'll be traveling to in order to see if it's possible.
