30 day extensions for a 90 day trip
My first visa application. I'm currently waiting for my 60 day tourist visa after re-sending 2 photos.
If the visa does not arrive on 28th October (flight date), can I do 2 x 30 day extensions?
I realise it might arrive while I am there.

Nope I’ve just found this out after my son arrived! You can only extend once in Thailand. So I would recommend changing your flight until you get your evisa

If you don't get the visa in time enter on a 30 day exempt. At the end of the 30 days leave and enter on the visa that arrived after you did. They will stamp you in for 60 days, giving you the 90 total, and you skip a trip to immigration.

IF you enter Thailand without a Thai Visa... you enter as Visa Exempt Entry and are stamped in for 30 days. AND you can get an ADDED 30 days extension at your local Thai immigration office for 1,900 Thai baht. There's NO added 30 days extensions available to you. IF you try to get one, they may grant you a 7 day extension to LEAVE THAILAND. To stay longer would require a BORDER BOUNCE. Leaving Thailand and reenter to get a new 30 days visa exempt entry.

Nope. 30 then 7. If it arrives after you leave you can't use it (maybe if you leave Thailand and reenter?) It should arrive to be fair. I've had to keep resubmitting bank statements, they didn't say a joint account means proof of 40k.

Hi James . I had a similar experience i.e applied for 60 day multi entry visa on September 5 with flights booked for October 8 and hence visa not finalised by departure date. I flew on October 8 and was stamped for 30 day Visa Exempt Entry.As luck would have my TMUV was approved on October 12. I visited my local Immigation office today and was advised I could do a border run and get a 60 day stamp on re-entry or apply for a 30 day extension on my current 30 day Exempt Entry which is the option I went with. I supplied required photocopied documents (check required documents list) , paid 1900 baht and walked out 30 minutes later with a 30 day extension stamp in my passport. Hope this helps 🙏
