TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of applying for a tourist visa (30 days) on the same day their non-B visa is canceled. Community responses suggest that while a tourist visa may be available, there are options for extending stay due to COVID-19 and potential rejection of extension applications.

Assuming the immigration office is still selling it when you apply, you can get a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. The last day they are selling it is September 27 (if my memory serves me right).

Otherwise, you can apply for an extension of stay for 1900 THB, it will be rejected and you will have 7 days to leave Thailand

actually July 29th is the last day to apply, and remember the 26th and 28th are holidays.

That said, it's very likely the covid extension plan will be extended past July 29th, but nothing is for sure.

Unless they pulled it down again, I thought it was September 29. I know it was up on Phuket Immigration's Facebook page.

Tod pointed that out the other day, noting that they jumped the gun and the likliness of the program being extended due to it being up.
