My non b visa will be cancelled March 31st. Is there anyway to extend as a tourist without leaving the country? Otherwise I'll do a long visa run to Malaysia.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is inquiring about the possibility of extending their non-B visa before its cancellation on March 31, without leaving Thailand. The responses suggest that obtaining a tourist visa while in Thailand is not possible, and the best option is to perform a 'visa run' to Cambodia, specifically Phnom Penh, with recommendations for the process and alternative ideas for short trips to Laos or the Philippines.
I have the same situation. I havr to leave March 26th. Can you send me the steps?

Phnom Penh is your best option most likely, I had to do it over mew year I went on the 2nd came back the 5th,, if you want I have a write up of all the steps you need to take that someone else did and I just followed thst and it all went fine. Pm me if you want it all in all you're looking at around 15k to do it incl flights, Maybe a bit more as long as you can find the flights for about 6k return

I read recently that the Philippines was opening with no quarantine for vaccinated tourists.
. That's true. As the Philippines tourism slogan says "It's more fun in the Philippines"! Might as well make a mini-break out of it. Seems a waste to fly somewhere to just turn around and come back again.

The only realistic "border bounce" is Phnom Penh. Someone did this recently with a three day turnaround. You'll find a detailed description of the process on the Thai visa advice group
