Can I apply for a spousal one year visa at any immigration office in Thailand, regardless of my spouse's Tabian Baan location?

Would anyone know about the Tabian Baan and if you have to make spousal one year visa application in the hometown from where your spouse has her Tabian Baan in or can you apply basically at any immigration office in Thailand?

TLDR : Answer Summary
You do not need to apply for your spousal one year visa in the province where your spouse's Tabian Baan (house registration) is located. However, you cannot choose any immigration office; you must apply at an office that serves the area where you are residing. You will be required to provide certain documents, including a lease agreement and proof of residence, such as having your TM30 filed.

It's very common for Thai people to live in provinces other than where the it TB is registered.

Al your wife needs to provide is copies of her I'd card(front and back) and copies of her TB. Al signed as true copies by her.

Depending on your immigration office, you wil need copy of lease, copy of landlords I'd (front and back) copy of landlords TB, copy of landlords TB of the property he's renting out. All signed. If your landlord is a foreigner, then copy of his/her wp (Good luck with that). Not the same for all IO's. Check with your local one.

there is no requirement to get your yearly extension in the province where your thai wife has her house book listing.

But you can't pick and choose what office you use either.

You need to have your lease, your TM30 filed, etc showing you live in the area served by the office you're going to use.
