Hello everyone,
I am an Indian and currently working in India. My Thai wife and I were married officially in Denmark (I was working in Germany at the time) and we have marriage certificate from there apostilled according to The Hague convention.
I want to apply for marriage visa (Non-Imm O) and I see on Thai embassy website that they have two options, one is single entry 3 months and another is multiple entry one year.
My question is that currently I am out of thailand so I don’t that a Thai bank account and I don’t have 400k but in my current job I am getting more than 40k THB per month so can I go for a one year non-imm visa directly or it wouldn’t be possible?
Even if I go with 3 month option, I don’t have 400k in cash to put in a Thai bank account and I don’t think I will get a 3 month holiday from my job. Does that mean this visa only makes sense if I decide to live and work in Thailand?
Thanks a lot in advance
TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is seeking guidance on applying for a Non-Imm O marriage visa from outside Thailand, specifically regarding the financial requirements. They express concern about not having a Thai bank account or the requisite 400,000 THB. Responses indicate that it is possible to apply for a one-year multiple entry Non-Imm O visa based on marriage, as proof of funds can be shown from the individual's home country instead of Thailand.
