Good morning

Can someone just confirm what documents I need to get a 60day extension on my marriage visa.

I got it in Ho chi Minh and my first 90 days are up on the 10th July.

If I need a lease, my name is not shown. Is this a problem?

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a 60-day extension on your marriage visa in Thailand, you need to provide the following documents: a copy of your wife's ID card (front and back), a copy of the marriage certificate, and a copy of the house book of your wife, all signed in blue ink by your wife. The fee for the extension is 1,900 THB.

They should have give you a print out if done online. Yes, we did is not always what they did unfortunately.

No we're were just told by the estate agent it had been done.

I am speaking to the owners office now to try and get these copies. It's never easy is it.

Do you both have the slip from your landlord with the text: Have received notification of aliens address of .....? Stamped by Immigration and your address on it.

Doesn't do 90 day reports I mean. Sorry mis type

Hi Robert. The landlord told us he had reported us all moving from.Bangkok to Chon Buri so we were told no need for us to report.

I did my first 90 day report yesterday at the same time without a problem but Damian does do 90 day reports he has to leave every 90 days.

He also did his 90 days report, that is also seen as verification of address. If you arrive inside Thailand your landlord or you report your address within 24 hours using the TM30 form, lease contract, copy owners ID and coy blue housebook. I guess he did not made the first report so that is why they asked him all of those documents. Some offices insist that the wife comes along.

@Robert ******
60 day extension on his marriage visa got in Ho chi Minh.

He's just coming up to his first 90 days but was hoping to extend by 60 before going out.
Robert *******
And on what basis did he apply for the Extension of Stay?
Rachael *****************
Hi Robert another question please.

My son Damian went yesterday for his extension but got turned away because

1) needed wife to go.

2) needed copy of lease with his name on it.

Damian was also given a list from Immigration which says they also need

Copy of owners id

And copy of owners house book.

Is this normal? We don't have these and think they will be difficult to get.

Most Immigration Offices allow you 30 days before your last day of admitted to stay period.

Thanks Robert. Can I only go 7 days prior to my date or can I go earlier?
