Hi everyone!
Do someone have an experience with applying NON-O marriage visa in Laos?
At the moment I stay in Thai with the same visa but single entry with 1 year extention. In March permit will finish.
I would like to open new multi entry visa for not take permission every time when I go outside Thailand. On thai website they write that I can receive only 90 days single entry visa.
So the question is can I apply for 1 year multi entry visa in Laos and do I need to provide any additional docs such as bookbank or it is better to apply for 90 days multi entry visa with minimum package of docs and after 3 months apply for year extention in immigration?
Thanks
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on applying for a NON-O marriage visa in Laos, particularly if they can obtain a year-long multi-entry visa instead of a 90-day single entry visa. Comments indicate that the Thai consulate in Savannakhet is the only place offering the year-long, multi-entry NON-O based on marriage, requiring similar documents as a single entry visa, without proof of funds. There's also discussion on whether to apply for a longer visa directly or obtain a short visa and extend it within Thailand.
