TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is considering applying for a marriage visa in Thailand but is concerned about their ability to disclose the source of their monthly income of over 40,000 baht. Comments suggest that while it may be necessary to provide financial proof, alternatives exist including banking 400,000 baht for two months or applying for a marriage visa at certain consulates in neighboring countries without financial proof.

Other than that your only choice would be to bank 400K baht in an account in your name for 2 months before you apply for your yearly extension based on marriage
OR
you could just go to the thai consulates in either Savannakhet Lao, Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi Vietnam and get a year long marriage visa without showing ANY proof of finances.
nope, for the income method you either work legally here in thailand show your pay stubs your tax receipts and your work permit OR you show the notarized letter from your consulate ..
You couldn't use the bank account to show income from abroad. You would have to go to your consulate and get a notarized affidavit of income from abroad letter stating you get the money. Depending on the consulate you might have to prove where you get the money from for them to write the letter for you.
