I have plans on using the Ed student visa, Do I have to leave the country after I apply to duke language school? I know with ALA requires you to.

In my research some schools say you have to leave and some say you don’t. I don’t get the inconsistency.

They should be able to convert in Thailand if you enter as a tourist, but you need to ask Duke this question. There are other factors involved, so the answer will not be the same for everyone and every case.
