Do I need a multi-entry Thai visa if I plan to visit South Korea after applying for a tourist visa in Laos?

I’m on visa exempt (gonna do +30 days extension in few days), and after that I plan to go to Laos and apply for tourist visa there.

I’m just curious about one thing, I maybe want to visit friend in South Korea in few months, stay maybe a week and come back. I suppose I need multi entry Thai visa for that? Or it’s not necessary? I’m really green about visa stuff.

Get a tourist visa in Korea or return visa exempt. You wont get a multi-entry tourist visa in Laos

A multiple entry tourist visa has a time and a place, but it's not relevant to you right now because you can ONLY get a multi-entry tourist visa from your home country. If you go to Laos you can only get a single entry tourist visa, which means you will be stamped in for 60 days and you can get a 30 day extension. If you leave the country during this time your visa/extension will be cancelled, and if you return after that you'll be entering as visa exempt again.

Depending on when you're leaving, it may not be worth purchasing a tourist visa. If you will be leaving to Korea before 60 days after your current visa/extension runs out, you might as well just get another visa exempt entry and use the 30 day extension on that.
