Headed back to the US for a friend's wedding, and then hopefully back to Thailand for about three more months. Since I will be in the states, I thought that it would be easier to apply for a single entry 60-day tourist visa there. However, I cannot seem to find any information regarding this route. Are there any Americans on here that obtained a tourist visa before coming to Thailand? How did you go about it? Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks information on obtaining a single entry 60-day tourist visa to Thailand from the US. Several commenters suggest using Thai embassies or consulates located in various cities like Washington D.C., Boston, and others for the application process. They mention that it's possible to make an appointment for in-person application or to mail the application. General advice is given to search online for local consulate options.

Google is your friend. This tells you all. If you're not near LA, there are consulates all over the country.
