TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, freelancers can apply for the Digital Work Visa (DTV) in Thailand. To strengthen your application, it's important to provide documentation that proves your work situation. This may include client contracts specifying your ability to work remotely, invoices, bank statements showing payments from clients, a professional portfolio, and relevant social media profiles. You should also maintain a consistent income to demonstrate financial stability.
I’m a freelancer and was approved. I sent in my contracts with my clients- I had them add a section stating I can work remotely, I sent invoices, my bank statements (you can send screenshots of PayPal), my portfolio, and social media in relation to work (LinkedIn,etc)
You can also share screen shots of your PayPal and bank statements. Just add a cover letter explaining it all. My boyfriend had to do this as a business owner - he was approved
Anonymous participant Anonymous participant i believe it could work but sometimes embassies are very strict. When I applied they asked me as additional documents me to show my salary going into my bank account
