ORIGINAL POSTER
Good morning, I write books and I receive monthly royalties from a literary agent. I don't have a company. In your opinion, can I apply for the DTV as a freelance digital nomad?

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry asks if a freelance author receiving monthly royalties can apply for the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand. Responses suggest it is possible to qualify, provided the individual can demonstrate their income and tax registration from their home country, similar to other freelancers like graphic designers who share their portfolios online.

There was a similar post recently. It should qualify just as say a graphic designer showing their online portfolio and work on Upwork. It is probably down to the individual Embassy and their quirks

Yes if you can show your income, that you are registered for tax and pay tax in your home country
