Tobacco.

Does anyone know if B&H are cheaper in the Airport Duty-Free sections or the same (maybe even less) in the average Thai 7/11 please?

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, cigarettes, including popular brands like Marlboro and L&M, tend to be cheaper at 7-Eleven stores compared to airport duty-free shops. Many users noted that B&H cigarettes are rarely found in Thailand, with reports suggesting they haven't been available for many years. Users recommend comparing prices before purchasing; for example, Marlboro Red is priced around 150 baht in 7-Eleven, while some duty-free prices might vary. The general consensus leans towards local Thai brands being significantly cheaper and more readily available.

It isn’t that much of a difference to worry about

Seems the COWARD with no self-confidence, Christopher Ian Morgan, leaves a comment and then blocks my replies. Hiding in his "safe-closet", no doubt. I think he may be due another booster (cuz the human gene-pool could probably use a clean-up and a clear out and it's always the weak and simple-minded who get filtered out by Mother Nature). At least the only substance I take is nicotine, not DNA altering concoctions. And HE has the unqualified hubris to accuse ME of being "brain-dead"??!! 🤔😉😂✌️

You cannot get bennys in Thailand. Try L & M red ones 110 baht a packet.

Best are boxes not the cheap soft packs.

Yes, I find LM Red are fine but wondered if they still sold B&H. Seems they don't. No matter. LM are good enough and I can't tell the difference between hard or soft packs nor even red and blue..

Duty free shops are one of the most expensive places to buy things.

Not booze and tobacco, compared to western high streets.

@Jay ******
ah yes indeed those may be the exceptions as those are taxed disproportionally.

Everything else, though - you're bang on target. "Duty Free" is to airports what a "SALE" sign is, to the High Street. "Do we have any SUCKERS, around here, looking to get rinsed?" LOL

I think duty free is actually cheaper now in Thailand. 7 11 will be 150 ish a pack while airport duty free will be less.

BKK for some reason has very limited selection, no Marlboro for example.

Often you will connect at another airport in Asia where you can also shop.

As for B&H not sure honestly I don't look for them.

Duty free on arrival has closed. There's only duty free on departure now

Last two trips 6 months+ - no sign of B&H

. In Thailand I go for Marlboro Gold 150bht

, or if I’m drinking with ‘non-smokers’ that seem to smoke when they’ve had a few it’ll be a box of Luckys at 70bht. Bought 200 B&H flavoured at King Power (airport) for 900bht in July (90bht per pack). So for premium do the airport, for cheap cheap do the 70bht packs at

I don't smoke anymore but when I did I've never seen B&H here, malboro is about the only recognisable premium brand name and are something like 200thb or they were a few years ago when I last noticed, you can get the Thai brands which are cheap as chips, L&M are about 70thb to 80thb, I uswd to smoke iscore 5 or 7 which i think are 70thb now as well, best to stock up on bensons before you come or in duty free if they have them if thsts what you want to smoke as ive never seem them In the 9 years ive beem here

You can buy B&H Red (same as gold) in duty free. Not sure of the latest price.

Marlboro Red in 7-11 at 150 baht a pack. So you can compare before you buy.
Stuart *********
Marlboro, L&M , Camel sold everywhere as well as some Thai brands that you probably don’t want to try.

B&H were here 30 years ago. Not sure when they stopped but haven’t seen them at all for years.
Graham ******
I've never seen B&H in either
Stuart *********
Cigarettes are cheaper in a 7-11 than buying in a duty free shop in an airport in Thailand.

Not sure I’ve seen B&H as a brand sold here for years.
