Has anybody recently bounced at Kuala Lumpur?

Looking to stay near the airport, solo, one night only. Recommendations for a room under 1000 baht would be great. Let me know if they have a shuttle service and food/drink on premises or nearby.

I've never been to KL and don't plan on exploring the town this trip.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you! This is what I needed to hear. I’ll look into it.

Earlier today, I spent some time on google maps and found a cluster of hotels which looks like a business park of some kind. Has a 24h restaurant nearby. Didn’t see a street name. Just off of highway 32. Nothing exciting but it gets the job done.

Last year I bounced at KL, landed around 5pm, had a Nandos at the mall connected to the airport, then checked in and caught a flight back to BKK around

pm. Landed just after midnight and re-entered. This probably isn’t recommended but was for a visa change as opposed to just renewing the same visa. Easy and no need for a hotel.

There's a Tune Hotel literally right beside the airport terminal.

I stayed right at airport in the Tune hotel. It is owned by air Asia. You will save as you don’t need to pay for transportation. There are also several good food options at the airport.

Thanks. Right around 2000. If I was bringing my partner, she'd really appreciate it.

usd per night but no food or shuttle included. What dates you are talking about. Is it just a transit? In general KL is slightly cheaper than Bangkok and I like it more

Looking at late July near the airport. Only spending one night there. Nothing fancy. A room and a place to get something to eat at night within walking distance.

which airport and terminal? Keep in mind KL is like Bangkok and has 2 airports- the international airport is actually around 60 km away from KL. In that case if you want to just go to the nearest hotel check the transit hotels or Sepang no need to go to KL and then get back. Ibis is close to the airport. However terminal KLIA 1 and KLIA 2 are also not so close. It depends what airline you travel. The other airport (Subabg )is closer to the city but most of the time the flights from this one are domestic or Singapore
