Could anyone advise: I want to sell a bike to an individual and then buy a new one thru the bike shop. Do I need two separate residence certificates? One for selling and another one for buying? Is one not enough- and use a copy?

Would anyone know the agents that could do RC for a reasonable price- especially if I need two.

Thank you 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
When selling a bike to an individual and purchasing a new one through a bike shop in Thailand, it appears that you likely need two separate residence certificates (RCs) for these transactions. However, some community responses suggest that a single RC can suffice if you provide a copy, particularly in cities like Bangkok. It is also noted that obtaining an RC can be free in many provinces and may only take a few minutes. Local practices can vary, with some areas having specific requirements for the purpose of the RC, such as selling or buying. Consider checking in your specific location for the most accurate information, and note that you may not need an agent to obtain these certificates.
