TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about when they would be stamped out of immigration during their travel from Chiang Rai to Bangkok for a connecting international flight. Since Chiang Rai does not have a traditional immigration stamp-out process for domestic flights, the consensus is that the user will be stamped out at Bangkok Airport when they pass through immigration for their international flight. Some comments noted the importance of checking luggage handling and transit processes to ensure a smooth connection.

When you land you’ll go to the international departure and pass immigration there

Given the gap between the 2 flights I'd say you get stamped out when you pass through immigration at Bangkok Airport to board the flight there

Check where your luggage gets checked through to so you’ll know you don’t have to collect it and recheck it in BKK. If you didn’t go through immigration on departure from Chiang Rai you’ll likely go through into domestic arrivals in BKK then have to go through International departures (and security). If you did go through immigration in Chiang Rai you’ll likely take the connecting flights option on arrival in BKK and show your onward boarding pass.

They don’t stamp out now with the E gates but it’s registered on computer

I would imagine the date you physically leave Thailand is the date of exit

I’ve had exit flight out at 2:30 am but if you pass through passport control before midnight you are ok

When you clear immigration at BKK. I'm picking your entry stamp runs out the day you depart CR, that's why you're asking?

Graeme Mort so a bit like in Phuket, you don't board at domestic check in for the domestic flight that is part of the international ticket.

Peter West you'll have to check if you'll be boarding in CR through international and remaining airside in BKK. I've no idea what your airport is like up there. In Phuket you board the flight that transits in BKK by going to international departures not domestic, so passport is scanned there.
