TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about when they would be stamped out of immigration during their travel from Chiang Rai to Bangkok for a connecting international flight. Since Chiang Rai does not have a traditional immigration stamp-out process for domestic flights, the consensus is that the user will be stamped out at Bangkok Airport when they pass through immigration for their international flight. Some comments noted the importance of checking luggage handling and transit processes to ensure a smooth connection.
Check where your luggage gets checked through to so you’ll know you don’t have to collect it and recheck it in BKK. If you didn’t go through immigration on departure from Chiang Rai you’ll likely go through into domestic arrivals in BKK then have to go through International departures (and security). If you did go through immigration in Chiang Rai you’ll likely take the connecting flights option on arrival in BKK and show your onward boarding pass.
Peter West you'll have to check if you'll be boarding in CR through international and remaining airside in BKK. I've no idea what your airport is like up there. In Phuket you board the flight that transits in BKK by going to international departures not domestic, so passport is scanned there.
