TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of waiting until after the visa amnesty period to extend their expiring Non-O visa. Community responses suggest that while the current immigration situation might allow some flexibility, it is advisable to extend the visa now to avoid long queues later and ensure compliance with immigration requirements.

I could be totally wrong and you might indeed be covered on this 'blanket amnesty plan" until the 30th, BUT I don't see the down side to checking and seeing what's what.
Can you report back or message me after you find out?
Good Luck, take care, stay safe.

and what is stopping you from applying for the yearly extension AND more importantly than that seeing as you can apply for extensions at most offices 30 days before your current stamp expires why didn't you already GO and apply for an extension?

Not a lot of people now at immigration offices, the best time to apply for your new 1 year Extension of Stay,
or wait for the extra few days and stand ours in queues when everybody has to apply again.
I advice go now, do not care these few days in your life time.
