yes I have heard of some cases where they take your money and you lose out.
But I think in my case, they wanted to double check all my documents before actually saying yes.
The lady seemed a bit hesitant about everything. Kept asking where this or that was, and everything was there. She didn’t know how to read my bank statements. Just a bit concerned lol
