It was quite hard to get the official statement for me as my bank required me in person or a document with my hand written signature.

For the personal statement I was able to get it online, watermarked personal statement.

you can apply at any thai consulate doesn’t have to be your home country. Just can’t apply within Thailand

I’m not sure that is a requirement. I have a tm30 and 1 year rental contract since I have already been living in Thailand with a TR visa, so I showed that.

yup the pamphlet circling around says 10k thb but most places charge $400. You should clarify at the embassy you will apply at, I’m not sure it’s the same everywhere
