offcause a tourist can get bank account, if they want buy condo, if they want invest, if they put 40 mio in they also can own land, I have many tourist many friend who are investors they have all bank account.

so right you have same right, and the bank can do this when they want because you in there eyes is a tourist , or a guest, do you want to have more right, learn Thai, take Thai citizen then life easier

if you get more right as an tourist it is, like i say i have thai family's work in immigration in Thailand, and they see it as a longer tourist visa nothing else.. but many falang thing they have more right.. 100% same rules for you and a tourist, even a tourist can make a business account, if they present them self as investors.. you cannot vote you cannot buy land own 100% your own company, only if you invest 40 mill. just tell me one thing you can more then a tourist, Elite VIsa 5 years is also a tourist visa, just longer... here you get bank account, 5 years to stay in thailand,

again they can decide not you even you match there criteria where in the law do it stand they need to give you bank account ?

you do not have right if the bank not want you they can decline, it is not a right it is a possible you can have,, I have both company and private bank. Credit card and more and atm to my company I do only own 49 procent, I cannot make atm for payment to company sales, only Thai can by law, scb have now also restricted app for Falange busniess app only web site, my lawyer I have ask it will be like this in future because of scam and new bank rules all over Thailand

like I say immigration just call it longer tourist visa, have talk with so many times you do not have more right then a tourist
