Well, not everyone works for a company. For me the logic is sound tho, because there's still a lot of people who works illegally, but still, whether if it is 30 days, 15 days, or 60 days, if people is going to decide and stay illegally they'll do. So there's no point to think it can change anything towards people staying illegally. At the end, saying no tourist needs 60+30 is simply not accurate because it's not like that in all cases. I'm a freelancer, so I don't have to worry about schedules, I can extend my vacations as much as I want, I did the 60+30 because I wanted to live on a different place, but yet I wanted to visit first and seeing how's life there. I used 60+30 as a tourist, met lots of places , and after enjoying for that amount of time I decided to get the DTV, and now I have it. So far I've met a lot of people who did the same before taking the decision of living in Thailand, and securing the large amount of money you need while applying for a dtv.

Thanks for your help, I did not apply for it earlier because, the house owner of the place where I'm staying right now was out of town since the end of January, and he just arrived a couple of days ago, he was not supposed to be away that much, so that's why I couldn't go there, since getting the tm-30 was impossible without him

Thanks for your information! let me see if I got it correctly, my stamp will be due on Sunday which will be on the 9th, so if I go on Monday, there won't be any overstay fee, correct?. Thanks for your help in advance!.
