How long do you have to leave Thailand after your work permit is cancelled in order to renew your visa?

I think they mean leaving thailand without re-entry. It can cancel the extension or not? Sure its confusing I think I will ask them again.

. My company is saying they will cancel the visa on their system and suggested me to just leave the country on the same day. They didn't even tell me to visit immigration office to cancel the visa. It's confusing.

In cass if my work permit gets cancelled and company cancels the visa extension in the system on the same day and if I leave Thailand without doing re-entry then my stay permit will be cancelled or not? Or I have to visit immigration office to get a Extension Cancel stamp or something? Please respond thanks.
