Another document I was asked for this morning in Bangkok was my Yellow Fever Card.. not detailes in any Thai lists.. however if you have been to Africa I siggest you have it updated and available.. one person in our group from Addis was put to the side as no YF card.
i first compiled a list of document they asked for.. then sent the list only to the embassy to gauge what the really wanted.
The replied giving me a list of a few extra I needed so I put them all together ( excluding itinerary and COVID tests certs) and sent them.of for their review.
They replied and advised what I provided would qualify me for a repat flight and COE.
That took about a week of me fussing about putting the Dossier together and reducing the size of the pdfs as not to crash their system.
Once I pulled the trigger it took about 4 days.
You have to enter a RTE in person to apply for the visa.. no online applications.
I also registered at the embassy in person as I flew to Maputo to do this.
In a parallel activity I had the support of my very efficient company's travel, immigration and medic team in Mozambique as we do ow own PCR testing with a certified lab.
So.. the emnassy was excellent. But you must have every document and every detail 100% correct to ensure no rejection.
