Yes, I also doubt that immigration policies will be any more liberal than those of this representative.

You’ll need to distinguish between an extension (which happens without leaving the country) and exiting and re-entering the country. For the extension, documents MAY be required, and immigration will announce the details soon when the first group needs to extend. For exiting and re-entering, no documents are currently needed.

There is a video of an interview with a DTV representative in this group that might give you some insight, but it is not confirmed.

No one knows yet. We will need to wait for extensions conditions.

You may need to provide proof of soft power if you're extending your stay in Thailand; this needs to be confirmed soon by immigration. However, so far, you will not need to provide these documents if you choose to exit and re-enter.

The ask:thailand community, consisting of multiple Q/A groups with over 100,000 members, powers this platform. It is not an official government resource. Our members actively contribute to this resource, and while we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee its complete reliability. Assistance to travelers is provided as a community service.
