I was told by immigration that the retirement visas are not valid for work. I know of no pne on a retirement visa that was able to work. Mine was an O and stamped as not eligible for work.

If the extension was granted for retirement purposes you cannot work. I had such an extension. I had a retirement visa in 2018-2019. You cannot get a wp with that David Broadfoot.

There is a sign at front of each queue. It can be confusing. Ask people in queue.

If I remember correctly it is the same one as the tourist queue. There is a separate one for marriage visas. You have a different type of Non-O so please double check.

Major queues for all visas. I have a non-O retirement. You need to wake very early and choose the right queue.

Don't arrive later than 6:30 as you may not even get an afternoon ticket later than that.
