Hi again,
Just got my work permit but have to ask for extension in Chiang Mai and I will be doing it on the last day of the visa.
I have heard lots of stories about queuing. Is it the same for all visas? I am Non O volunteer. What time will i need to be there to be guaranteed I see someone?
I don't mind waking up very early of course. Is there an agency i can use. Cost is not an issue at all.
Thanks
TLDR : Answer Summary
When seeking a visa extension for a Non-O Volunteer visa in Chiang Mai, it's crucial to arrive early to beat the long queues. Many recommend arriving by 6:30 AM, with some expats suggesting as early as 4 AM to ensure you can secure a spot to be seen. While the queues may be similar for all types of visas, being prepared and possibly using an agency could help. It's advisable to gather all necessary documents ahead of time to avoid repeated trips.
