replying in order of judgements;

1 - There's character limit for the Colored Back Banner of the post & i wanted it remain colored instead of the "forceful WHITE" if one happens to cross a certain character limit. Folks in here would pick on the sentence formation instead of addressing the genuine spirit behind it. Its a simple gaslighting technique that they'd automatically deny as well.

2 - I presume you're white skinned Caucasian and have no clue cos your head is yet to come out of the entitled fantasy you may still be having. The jobs have preferences, ofcourse theyre unsaid, & discriminatory, to the extent that an Irish friend (only high school educated, carries the typical accent, s*cks big time at grammar and Normal English speak, but a great bloke) & I applied for the same job without the host knowing-- & you guessed it right - He got it easily & I wasnt even encouraged to go in for the interview inspite of updated resume & creds shared. There's unfounded unsaid discrimination no matter how much folks may turn a blind eye to it.

3- referring to past point, they need to engage to find out if the English skills are reasonably good.

You do mean these "others" are Thai ppl who need English teachers?.. & they'd find any English speaking individual for that matter, difficult to grasp or comprehend. that's precisely why they're learning.

Accents can be neutralized or managed. But apt ENGLISH teaching doesn't have to be solely conformist to the native English speaking BIAS.

I understand many of the Indian folks may have funny or incomprehensible accents & bad english,but it doesn't mean all would be similar.

It's like saying all Americans have southern cowboy accents since it's popular imagery of gringos?!
