Tod was tons of help during my mini crisis. It would be a shame to not have his wisdom in this group. A travesty!!

low numbers. Real or not, that low infection rate is what forced the amnesty and is what is pushing immigration to do what is right. Maybe im not jaded by Thais, but i do have faith in them.

they havent said just leave. No way that many can. Just ใจเย็นๆ jai yen yen and let them give the announcement. There will definitely not be a forced exodus as they can’t have the virus show up. Id say have a plan b - school or otherwise - and wait.

Bridie Bird it just doesn’t matter to me. Im sure that their “vacation” has not been a walk in the park. In addition, the money that they have spent, or the money that has been spent on them - which im sure they didn’t receive without a thanks or something in exchange - has at least marginally helped Thailand. Again, society needs to learn to be respectful and helpful instead of insulting and condescending.

It’s true. I mean im all sorted but i dont understand the animosity shown by some guys. It’s weird. Arent the tourists the ones helping most of the gfs make a living? Ok so i had to place that jab in there. However, it really affects me about 0.

% whether a foreigner is here 10 days or 10 years. Just be nice and helpful to people; otherwise, don’t say anything. Look at the states and see what happens when courtesy and respect are lost.
