The only question remaining is whether my 9 yo old unvaccinated daughter will need a pre-departure test. Under the Thai pass scheme this wasn't necessary as she's travelling with her vaccinated mother ... I hope this won't change on July 1 ...
So I got a cheap travel insurance from worldtrips.com for a few days and applied for Thai Pass. This was approved after 2 hours (with a validity starting July 1 ) .
All the flights are on 1 ticket (booked on lufthansa.com but quite shockingly they don't know whether the bags will be checked through ... They say airline check in staff on departure day will be able to tell ... 🙄 )
