Can someone recommend an insurance plan that would cover the cost of a quarantine if I'm found to have covid-19 after my PCR test at the airport? I just realized that if this were to happen it would cost a lot of money having to pay for a hotel

Hi all,

We already have received our approval for Thai pass but, have decided to buy a AXA insurance (as it will cover asymptomatic hospital stays which our original insurance didn't cover).

My question is can we resubmit with the new insurance without invalidating our 1st thaipass. We currently hold both policies and can cancel our first policy upto 20th January.

We fly 21st January so feel it's not guaranteed we will get a resubmitted thai pass approved in time.

Hello all, happy new year!

I have a question about travel/Covid insurance: is the only requirement for it to cover $50.000?

I have Allianz Assistance (UK) travel insurance, which covers me for £5 million for medical expsenses; the wording includes "necessary and unforeseen emergency expenses if you die, are injured, have an accident or are taken ill during your trip (including being diagnosed with an epidemic or pandemic disease such as COVID-19 as well as being subject to compulsory quarantine on the orders of a treating doctor)".

Am I OK with this or should I look into the AXA one?

Thanks in advance :)
