Me again. Sorry to be full of so many questions! Does anyone know if the Axa Thailand insurance covers the covid medical costs if you test negative sitting next to someone who tests positive Because am I right in thinking if that happens you have to go to hospital?! (Which is the most ridiculous thing ever)

I believe close contact means you're confined to your hotel, not the hospital.

 ok but will the insurance cover you. Effectively a negative test means you Havnt got it so why would an insurance pay any cost!

Yes , 14 days . Bye bye Holliday . Appearantly you are not allowed to leave your room in that ( expensive ) 1 night-Bangkok - hotel either . The biggest joke is the pcr test on arrival ( 72 hrs later than your own test in your home country . It breakers my heart but I pass ( this winter ) .
