Just submitted insurance details for Thai pass but have found out that my world wide AXA will not cover quarantine costs in a hospital if you are asymptomatic.

Am i ok to just purchase AXA sawasdee and just present that in case I test positive and have no symtoms?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question addresses concerns regarding insurance coverage for quarantine costs in Thailand. The user discovered that their AXA worldwide policy does not cover hospital quarantine costs if asymptomatic and seeks to know if purchasing AXA Sawasdee would be adequate for coverage in case of a positive COVID-19 test, regardless of symptoms. A comment confirms that AXA Sawasdee does cover quarantine bills for individuals testing positive irrespective of their symptoms.

Yep...its AXA Sawadee Thailand which does pay hospital quarantine bills if you test positive with or WITHOUT symptoms.

AXA from other nation's may not.

Best to buy AXA Thailand.
