What should I do if my PCR test is positive but ATK tests are negative and I have no symptoms?
Greetings.
My RT Pcr results came in positive last night, used a private hospital for the test.
Did Self ATK on the same day with 3 different kiTs of different brands but all came negative. Also I'm showing no sympthoms. I keep testing and the results keep coming negative.
Vaxed 4 doses.
Has anyone been in this situation?
What to do? Self isolate or call 1330? or retest using another hospital perhaps for clarity.
And lastly will these results automatically appear on nhso data base and perhaps in mor prom or do I have to be the one to inform them?

I’m amazed after two years of this. People still think an AtK is as accurate as a PCR and when the ATK is negative and PCR is positive, they feel something is wrong.

PCR and ATK are two very different tests. Nothing exceptional in PCR testing positive and ATK testing negative. In short, it indicates you are infected but not infectious. However, you still have to comply with the rules of Thailand. If you are lucky, you had a PCR test with a false-positive result. Try get another PCR test.

Your vaccines and immune system are doing its job. Keeping it low. PCR is much more sensitive. You may be low enough to test negative on a 2nd PCR test.

hardly any serious adverse reaction out of the millions vaccinated. Headache/sore arm/ feeling poorly are all adverse reactions but not serious, just annoying. Less risk than taking birth control pill and other drugs. You don't acquire natural immunity to a virus you've never caught. Which is why 100 of 1000s of people died before the vaccine gave millions protection.

If you can get to a NEXT Lab (that’s the official lab at the airports), I would take a PCR test there. People sometimes get different results there.

So the guys dog had moderate to very mild symptoms of Rabies?This winter on MaeRamphung I know about around 30 people that tested positive for Covid.
2 of them where non vaccinated.
All of the vaccinated had moderate to very mild symptoms.
Of the non vaccinated 1 became severely ill, he nearly died.
That means 50% non vaccinated became severely ill and 0% of the vaccinated.

Self isolate, especially with a ct as low as 32. Your viral load is so low that the ATK tests showed negative. You are not contagious and will most likely never have any symptoms.

I have friends in their 70s and 80s. I have tested myself before meeting up with them, when I have thought it posible that I might have been exposed or when I have had respiratory symptoms. I also have friends with a newborn, I have tested myself before visiting them, my son's girfriend has an autoimmune condition and wasn't vaccinated. I tested myself before visiting them. As others have said it's common decency not to share the virus around, especially to those who are vulnerable

PCR can detect smaller traces of the virus earlier in the infection which is likely why the ATK tests are still negative. They may not ever show positive if your immune system fights it off before the viral load is high enough to register.

A PCR is much more sensitive then any ATK. PCR is 40 amplified rounds of looking for the virus while Atk is 25 rounds. The Ct levels on your PCR is anywhere from Ct 26 to Ct 40.
