TLDR : Answer Summary
The user asks about extending their visa exemption for a month after entering Thailand via Krabi airport. They want to know if they can go to the Chaengwattana office in Bangkok for this extension. Comments clarify that you typically need to visit the immigration office that services the area where your TM30 residence registration is filed, and there's a mention of the TM30 requirement being relevant again.

Where is your residence that has a TM30 address registration on file with Thai Immigration?

, as Lloyd said earlier, you entered Thailand on visa-exempt, you will go to the office at IT Square Laksi Plaza office, NOT the one at Cheangawattna.

Thanks for your answer, the TM30 wasn't needed a few months, is it back on the table now?

You're thinking of TM6 which is still suspended for air entries. TM30 hasn't changed

it was never off the table.

, you should have a TM30 receipt with an address in Bangkok in case, especially when you entered Thailand and stayed through another province.

Also sorry, but how do you obtain that from a hotel if it is indeed required?

You go to the reception where you hand over a copy of your passport at check in.

You ask a copy of the address registration.

If Bkk you would go to IT Square Laksi
Lloyd ********
You go to the office where your TM30 is filed, ie, the office that services the area that you live.
