I have an exemption to leave Australia and have an appointment at the end of the week to see the consulate and obtain a non-o family visa.

So here's my query- what is the best option for me visa wise wanting to leave at the end of this month and staying until roughly sept-oct?

A single entry non-o or multi entry non-o?

Is it hard to extend my visa while I'm in Thailand? Do I need to leave the country after 2 months like the old requirements of the multi entry?
