Can this be done ? Arrive Thailand visa exempt from Australia in late January, then fly to Vietnam for a week mid February then return Thailand visa exempt 45 days then do a boarder bounce late March to gain another 45 days and get an extension on that for another 30 days before flying back to Australia ! Will I encounter any problems doing this ? Tia

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires if it's possible to enter Thailand from Australia visa-exempt, travel to Vietnam, return to Thailand for another visa-exempt stay, and perform a border run to extend their stay. Comments confirm that while this is technically possible given the user holds an Australian passport, they should be cautious of immigration scrutiny for frequent entries. They are advised to ensure they have proof of onward travel and to stay updated on the visa exemption rules, especially as the 45-day exemption will end March 1.
Technically possible and not illegal. However, if an immi officer flags abuse, you might be refused entry. Also, keep monitoring if the 45day program will indeed be available as needed.
