I just moved to Bangkok from Kanchanaburi where I have lived 17 years. I used to my 90 days at the local immigration but they said before I moved that I could do it online, is that also possible if you just move to a different province? Or do I have to report in person the 1st time? Hope someone knows, thanks for your help!
TLDR : Answer Summary
Upon moving to a new province in Thailand, it is generally required to report in person for the first 90-day visa report at the local immigration office. Even if your landlord has filed the TM30 to register your new address online, visiting the Bangkok immigration office in person is recommended for your first reporting to avoid any issues. After this initial visit, you can report your 90-day check online. It's advised to check with the local immigration office about specific requirements as they can vary by location.
