Hello. I am thinking of applying dtv visa through Soft power (Muay Thai) . I have been gathering some information and so far where I see most people applying at is Vietnam, Jakarta and Laos. I have gotten most recommendations to Laos due to it being quickest process but apparently you can’t do e visa there.

So my question is where do you guys think is fastest to get dtv visa and easiest embassy to deal with ?

I am from Norway and currently staying at Bangkok .

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is considering applying for a DTV visa through the Soft Power initiative related to Muay Thai, currently stranded in Bangkok and seeking the fastest location for application with the easiest embassy process. While they initially thought Laos might be the quickest, comments suggest that Vietnam and Indonesia are actually faster options. Additionally, comments clarify that Laos does not provide an e-visa process, requiring cash payments at the embassy.

Laos is not the quickest out of those 3 countries, on average the slowest. Indonesia and Vietnam are quicker.

Where did you get that you cannot do DTV e-visa online in Laos? From my understanding, every embassy/consulate is doing e-visa. There may be a greater likely you will be called in for an in-person interview in some places than others, but the initial application and submission of documents should be online no matter where you are.

It's e-visa everywhere, the only difference is that in Laos you need to pay the 10,000 baht in cash at that Embassy, not online.
