Hello all, again. I’m in the USA selling some property so I can put $26,000 USD in a US bank account. Problem is I can’t wait two/three months for the account to “season” in order to apply for a 90-day Non O visa as I planned. It seems my only option is to return to Thailand without a non O and then just hire an agency. The second problem is that from November to July of this year due to extenuating circumstances and lack of knowledge I ended up doing THREE border runs (used an agency).
So I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be allowed re-entry even though I have no bad marks in passport or even comments from any IO. My question is, can I re-enter the kingdom by using a “fast track” service and then hire an agency to do the magic required for a 90-day Non O visa, bank account, and extension of stay? Or is there an option I am not aware of? Thanks.
I already have a DTV - I need to extend it next week (I will have been here for 6 months).
Can anyone please recommend a visa agent in Bangkok who can speed up the process at immigration (in and out of immigration as quick as possible)? I really don’t want to spend all day at immigration if I can help it.
Does anyone know about the ‘Safe Entry’ visa system? It’s where you pay a visa agency to ensure that when you enter Thailand by air, you’re guaranteed a visa on arrival or visa exemption.
The agency claims it’s a legitimate process – you still go through immigration as normal, but they say you’d be directed to a different, fast-track counter.
Is this a scam, or is it a legitimate service? Has anyone had experience with it?
I have a lot of Thai 30-day visa-exemption stamps in my passport and plenty of Thai tourist visas as well. I have never been deported or blacklisted. Never had an overstay.
Last time when I came to Thailand via the airport I was questioned by the IO a lot..
How do I find a so called “Fast track” service that could help to bypass that problem?
Anecdotal, I know. Just entered the kingdom at swampy on my third METV in as many years. I have 3-4 SETV's in my history as well. The IO didn't even raise an eyebrow.
I know it may very well be all about luck. But I always use a fast track service when I enter. A guy picks me up at the gate. Walks me to immigration. Has a brief cheerful chat with the IO and waits for me to get through. I have a feeling it makes me look good. Certainly shows I have money to throw away. Besides, it's wonderfully convenient. This is the one I use:
Avoid being denied entry service for 3,000฿? Lots of people here have got this e-mail and I am looking for answers. I'm sure by now we are all aware that Immigration is cracking down on long term tourist visa people who are showing proof of 20k cash but being denied based on 120 days per year as the verbal reason and marking insufficient funds on paper.
But how is it possible to meet a representative inside the airport before stamping into immigration to guide you through arrival process? Isn't that area reserved for people specifically flying into Thailand?
