Hi any recommendations for a beautiful "phi phi like" feel for familys with young children, between krabi and phuket, it feels very crowded this year so need somewhere else suggested(rather then phi phi) after we leave Railay

Just avoid the main party beaches in Phi Phi and you’ll be fine, check Laem Tong beach for example, beautiful beach to stay.

For day trips check Similan, Rok, Hong islands, Racha, Surin Islands, Maiton, Coral island, all around Phuket

Actually when they were doing Lonely Planet Joe put an intern to ask how me how to get to Koh Yao Noi. Gave them totally wrong directions 5555 and they printed it.

except it’s not between krabi and phuket, Yao Noi and Yai aren’t as “beautiful” but great islands and a lot less touristed than nearby islands
