My passport (USA) needs to be renewed soon - does anyone have information of the process for getting DTV transferred to new passport? Is it easy to get new passport from CM or better to do from the states? Can you have a new passport and still show old passport and DTV for entry? Thank you for any information!

My U.S. ten year passport expires in 18 months. When getting a renewel the number changes i think. With the DTV being five years would I simply inform the Thai consulate of the new number?
