I received a visa extension letter from the U.S. EMBASSY BANGKOK.. ok cool
However, I initially contacted the U.S. CONSULATE GENERAL - CHIANG MAI, was instructed to fill out an online form & list the city or province where I’m staying.. I entered Chiang Mai —
but as I mentioned, received a letter from the US Embassy BKK as opposed to a CM letter.
So my question is: Does anyone have experience using an Embassy BKK letter in Northern Thailand or elsewhere?
I have a U.S. passport. I have run out of pages. i have a non-O Retirement visa and it is extended until March 2020. Please tell me the procedure to get a new passport from the U.S. Embassy or Consulate and what forms fees are needed. Plus, any advice or insight into timelines.
Additionally, once I receive my new passport, how do I get it updated with Thailand Immigration. Again, what forms, fees and procedures are required at Chang Watthana (Bangkok District)?
